Fiona Tuohy - IMDb

Following a successful career as a finance professional in the TV and Film Industry, I’m now focusing on screenwriting. Working in production, I believe has made me a better, smarter writer, as I have worked with producers and understand the difficulties in getting something made.

Growing up in Ireland, I loved story from a young age and my focus in writing is on original stories with international appeal.

I am a current participant in the BBC New Voices 26 scheme, chosen out of six thousand entries.​

My short film project, The Kevin Intervention, was selected for Screen Ireland’s Focus Shorts 2025 scheme. It is now in post production.​​

My first feature, The Mount, which was developed as part of the Screen Ireland emerging talent Spotlight scheme,  has a director attached and is currently in the process of being financed.

I have teamed up with Riot Time Pictures to option a true-life crime novel about fraudster and former film producer Felix Vossen. Our pitch on the project is currently out to a number of production companies.
